Marc Cohen M.D.
Dr. Cohen has served in several prominent leadership roles including being an active Assistant Clinical Professor at UCLA in the Department of Head & Neck Surgery and acting as Chief of Surgery at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center.
Dr. Marc Cohen grew up in New York City where his volunteer work at hospitals and fascination with science ignited his passion for medicine.
He began his academic career at Dartmouth College and progressed to Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, ultimately earning his medical degree from Stony Brook University SUNY at the top of his class while serving as president of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
He then moved to California to complete an internship and residency in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at UCLA, followed by a cosmetic surgery fellowship in Beverly Hills. During his medical training, Dr. Cohen received several travel grants for surgical research and numerous accolades, including the UCLA School of Medicine award for best teaching chief resident, and he currently serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Head and Neck Surgery at UCLA.
Dr. Marc Cohen has been featured on ABC News to discuss Thyroid Cancer, sharing his expert insights as an ENT specialist. His commentary helped bring much-needed awareness to the signs, symptoms, and importance of early detection.
Previously, he was honored with the UCLA award for best teaching faculty member. A board-certified specialist by the American Board of Otolaryngology, Dr. Cohen is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. His work has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals, and he has contributed a book chapter on rhinoplasty while presenting his research at conferences nationwide.
Dr. Cohen continues to be a trusted voice in the field, dedicated to educating and empowering patients.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Cohen enjoys golfing, experimenting in the kitchen as a novice chef, and indulging his love for music, and he is happily married with two children.
