How to use Botox Cosmetic

The dose of medication varies depending on the area being treated and your personal circumstances, such as any medical conditions, your body weight, current medications, and so on.

If you're a good candidate for Botox, Dr. Cohen will administer the injection into the muscles in the target area. The medication should be received as directed, with repeat injections every 2 - 6-months depending on various factors. Am i a candidate for Botox?

Most adults are good candidates for Botox Cosmetic injections. However, the treatment may be discontinued if you're found to be allergic to botulinum toxin or any of the other ingredients. Dr. Cohen may recommend alternative treatments if you have an infection at the site where the injection should be administered, or if you have Eaton Lambert syndrome, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or myasthenia gravis.
